MEET DR. MILMON
Guided by Purpose, Grounded in Compassion
Dr. Milmon F. Harrison is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zen Brother. His life has been guided by a profound commitment to personal growth, understanding, and care. Holding a doctorate in Sociology, Dr. Harrison has devoted over 25 years to teaching and mentoring university students as a professor in African American & African Studies, and he brings a wealth of wisdom and compassion to everything he does. His academic and administrative journey has always been motivated by a genuine desire to uplift others and make a meaningful impact on their lives.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Harrison is a husband of more than 36 years and is the father of two adult children.

Zen Brother is the fulfillment of Dr. Harrison’s lifelong efforts to weave together the many threads of his experience—both personal and professional—into a fabric of genuine care. Drawing inspiration from his own journey and his commitment to supporting men of color, he established Zen Brother as a nurturing environment for healing, reflection, sharing information, and personal growth. The organization is not merely a marketplace; it is a space designed to encourage intentional practices of self-care, introspection, healing, and education, all with the goal of strengthening families and communities.
